Is your car insurance still a good deal?

Tell us what you pay. We price the same coverage at other California insurers and give you one plain answer. Sometimes it’s “stay”. That’s a good answer too.

Start with two numbers.

Your ZIP and what you pay. Then your car and who drives it. About two minutes, and your answer comes straight after.

California car insurance for now. Estimates from filed rates, not offers. No sales calls.

How it works

  1. 01You tell us.ZIP, cars, drivers, what you pay. In chat or a short form. Two minutes.
  2. 02We do the math. Each insurer’s filed rates, applied to your same limits and deductibles. Less coverage is not a saving.
  3. 03We keep checking.Only if you say yes. One email before each renewal. Stop any time.

One email. Plain answer.

Take a look.Harborline’s estimate is about $240 lower every 6 months for the same coverage. We’ll check again 45 days before renewal.
InsurWatch45 days before renewal
Still worth a look.Nothing moved. Your renewal notice should land soon. Send us the new price and we’ll run it again.
InsurWatch30 days before renewal
Shop now.Your renewal went up. Two insurers’ estimates are now at least 20% and $250 lower for the same coverage.

Insurers don’t pay us to say “switch”.

01No payment changes a verdict, a threshold or the order you see.
02We list who we couldn’t check. Every time.
03Watching, research and insurer contact are three separate yeses.
04We never sell your details. Delete everything whenever you like.

Muse · using InsurWatch · example“Is my car insurance still a good deal?”Take a look. For the same coverage, one insurer’s estimate is about $240 lower every 6 months. Two others are within 10%. One insurer’s rules exclude your household. Want me to watch this before your renewal?
Muse · using InsurWatch · example“Is the cheaper one the same coverage?”Yes. Same limits, same deductibles. The gap is mostly how they price your ZIP and mileage. I assumed 12,000 miles a year; tell me if that’s off.
Muse · using InsurWatch · example“Watch this and tell me before renewal.”Open the link to confirm. After that, InsurWatch emails you 45 and 30 days before renewal, even if the answer is stay.

Fair questions

Is this a quote?

No. Other insurers’ prices are estimates worked out from their filed rates. Your current price is the one your insurer gave you. Every number is labeled, so you always know which is which.

Who do you check?

Car insurance programs in California, for now. More states are coming. Our list shows when we last updated it. It isn’t the whole market, and every answer names who we couldn’t check.

How do you make money?

Today we don’t. It’s free. If insurers ever pay us, it will be for better data. Never for the verdict, the order you see or your details.

What happens to my data?

Insurance you don’t watch is deleted 30 days after its last check. Watching needs its own yes. Delete everything whenever you like.
