How it works

Two minutes in. One answer out.

Tell us what you drive and what you pay. We price the same coverage at other insurers and give you a straight answer. No sales calls. No spam from insurers.

What we ask for

Where it’s parkedYour ZIP code. Not your street.
What you driveYear, make and model. Up to four cars.
Who drivesAges, years licensed, any recent accidents or tickets.
What you pay nowYour insurer, price and term. That’s the number we test.

Skip something and we’ll use a sensible default, then show you exactly what we assumed. No names, no phone number, no street address.

What we do with it

  1. 01Find each insurer’s rates for you.Insurers file their rates with the state. We use the ones each insurer would apply to you on your renewal date.
  2. 02Price your exact coverage.Same limits. Same deductibles. If an insurer’s rules would turn you down, we say that too.
  3. 03Label every number.Estimate, observed quote or bindable offer. Never one dressed up as another.
  4. 04Give you one answer.Stay, take a look or shop now. “Not sure” if we can’t price at least two. Always with who we couldn’t check.

What each answer means

Stay.
WhenNothing we checked is at least 10% and $100 cheaper per term, for the same coverage. What to doKeep your policy. Switching for nothing is not a win. Say yes to a watch and we’ll check again before renewal.
Take a look.
WhenSomething is at least 10% and $100 cheaper per term, for the same coverage. What to doWorth ten minutes. Get a real quote from the cheaper insurer and compare it with yours.
Shop now.
WhenSomething is at least 20% and $250 cheaper per term, for the same coverage. What to doYou’re probably paying too much. Get a real quote, starting with the lowest estimate we found.
Not sure.
WhenWe couldn’t price at least two insurers for your same coverage. What to doWe’ll say what was missing. Fix a detail and try again, or check back as we add insurers.

Only prices for the same coverage count. A cheaper price for less cover is shown as a coverage change, not a saving. No answer covers the whole market.

What we don’t do

  1. NOWe don’t sell insurance or take payments.
  2. NOWe don’t pass your details to insurers.
  3. NOWe don’t count less coverage as savings.
  4. NOWe don’t keep your details unless you ask us to watch.
